Gambian carrier Gambia Bird Airlines has suspended flights from Monrovia in Liberia and Freetown in Sierra Leone because of the ebola outbreak in West Africa.
Gambia Bird flights to and from Monrovia and Freetown will remain grounded until the end of August.
The airline had already suspended flights to Lagos until further notice as a result of restrictions imposed by Nigeria.
Services between other West African destinations, as well as those from Gatwick and Barcelona to Banjul in The Gambia, remain unaffected.
In a statement, Gambia Bird Airlines said: “The decision has been taken in the light of international concern about the further spread of the ebola virus in the West African sub-region, and with the aim of continuing to offer a safe and reliable service to all customers, whilst also protecting the health and wellbeing of passengers and crew.”
The World Health Organisation (WHO) also classified Kenya as at “high risk” from the spread of the Ebola virus last week.
The WHO said Kenya was vulnerable because of its role as a major transport hub.
Kenya receives more than 70 flights a week from West Africa. The Kenyan government said last week it would not ban flights from the four countries hit by Ebola.
