Abta reveals industry line-up for Travel Convention

Abta has announced a host of senior travel industry figures who will speak at the Travel Convention in Ljubljana next month.

Barrhead Travel chairman Bill Munro, On the Beach chief marketing officer Alistair Daly, Royal Caribbean International sales director Ben Bouldin and Thomas Cook group general counsel Craig Stoehr will all speak on the first full day of the Convention.

On the same day, Expedia senior vice-president and head of retail Gary Morrison will join Tui Travel marketing and digital director Jeremy Ellis and Fred Olsen Cruises sales and marketing director Nathan Philpot in a debate with Institute of Customer Service chief executive Jo Causon.

Martin Randall Travel chief executive Martin Randall will discuss the opportunities and challenges presented by an ageing population with Abta head of destinations and sustainability Nikki White.

The association has previously announced appearances by singer Alexander O’Neal, Oxford University Professor and expert on ageing Sarah Harper, HouseTrip chief marketing officer Zaid Al-Qassab and the Duchess of Northumberland.

Abta chief executive Mark Tanzer said “We are pleased to be able to add these speakers to an already impressive line-up.”

He stressed: “There is just over a month to go and flights and hotel space are becoming limited so prospective delegates should register.”
