Meon Valley Travel’s out-of-hours travel fulfilment division has been sold to specialist Aero24.
Under the new arrangement contracts for more than 30 travel management companies with a claimed commercial value of approximately £500 million will transfer from Meon Valley to Aero24.
Meon Valley will continue to service its non-TMC clients under the Meon name with its TMC business integrating with Aero24’s existing operation.
The agreement will also further strengthen Aero 24’s operation as well as the overall assistance capability of its parent company the Collinson Group, which also comprises specialist travel claims and repatriations division Intana. Rachel Finn, a director of Aero24 and Collinson Group Travel Management, said: “The integration of Meon Valley’s TMC helpdesk business into Aero24 will bring a much enhanced service capability to our respective TMC client bases under one distinct offering.
“Meon Valley’s proven track record in delivering excellent levels of customer service complements our own service standards and I am delighted to welcome them into the group.”
