The official travel agent of next year’s Rugby World Cup has published a tournament programme to sell through travel agents.
England Rugby Travel, the official travel company of the Rugby Football Union, is offering ticket-inclusive packages, including merchandise packs, access to special events and accommodation for all 48 matches being held in England and Wales in 2015
The Rugby World Cup takes place over six weeks between September 18 and October 31 and will see 20 teams compete in matches held in 13 locations.
England Rugby Travel will be incentivising agents by offering a sliding scale of commission payments.
Louise Lee, who heads the company’s travel trade sales team, said: “Our Rugby World Cup 2015 ticket inclusive travel packages present a great opportunity for high street agents and we are really looking forward to working with them and harnessing the huge interest the tournament has already gained with the general public.”
Sample prices lead in at £479 per person for an overnight break including the opening ceremony at Twickenham Stadium before England play their first pool game against Fiji.
A ‘Platinum Package’ for the final staying at The Dorchester hotel in London starts at £2,869pp.
