Caribbean Connection is offering two weeks for the price of one at St Lucian villa property Windjammer Beach Resort. Valid from August 26 through to October 31, prices start at £1,626 per person for 14 nights’ half-board accommodation and scheduled flights, a saving of £826 per couple.
n Hyatt’s latest resort to open on schedule
Hyatt’s latest Caribbean resort, at Pigeon Point in St Lucia, is due to open on schedule in September. The $55m, 300-room deluxe hotel will offer a choice of three restaurants, bars, a watersports centre, a casino and a health spa. There will also be meeting facilities for up to 600 people.
n Sandals spends $17.5M on golf and spa expansion
Sandals Resorts is spending $17.5m expanding the Sandals St Lucia Golf Resort and Spa. A total of 56 new suites are being added, as well as a new Mediterranean restaurant, bar, exercise room, solar-heated pool and Jacuzzi and a business centre. Work is due to be completed by September.
