The Group Travel Organisers Association (GTOA) is seeking a candidate with a solid industry background to lead the trade body.
The assocation has started the recruitment process for the newly-created chief executive role, and is looking to appoint someone to be “the face of GTOA to both the public and trade”.
The successful candidate will help to develop the association which aims to be “the leading body for group travel organisers and those who provide services to them”.
Applicants are required to have strong communication skills and be an “engaging and charismatic public speaker”.
They also need experience of event management and the ability to build strong working relationships both within the GTOA and externally.
The GTOA exhibits regularly at major trade shows around the UK, and offers opportunities for members to meet at regional and national levels. It has more than 200 supplier members.
Those who are interested in the role should send details to firstname.lastname@example.org and applications should be made by January 16 2015.
