n Cunard agrees deal for £21.4m refit



Cunard Line has awarded a £21.4m contract to refit and refurbish three of its ships to the Lloyd Werft shipyard in Germany. QE2 will be in dry dock between November 12 and December 10. Vistafjord, which is to be renamed Caronia, will undergo work between November 20 and December 8. And Royal Viking Sun, which is due to join the Seabourn fleet under the name Seabourn Sun next year, will be in dry dock from October 29 to November 24.



n star clippers gives agents £30 incentive



Star Clippers is offering agents a cash incentive of £30 for every booking out of Barbados on its ship Star Clipper between April 30 and October 31 2000.



n silversea reveals golfing programme



Silversea has unveiled its Silver Links golfing programme for 2000. It offers opportunities to play at the Ko’ Olina Golf Club in Oaku, Hawaii, and the Valderrama course in Spain. Prices start from £600 including transfers fromSilversea’s ships, green fees, golf carts or caddies and gratuities.



n stena line to slash £100 off irish breaks



Stena Line Holidays iscutting the price of selected holiday homes in Ireland by between £50 and £100 in July and August. Seven days in Mountshannon, Tipperary, start from £78 per person.
