BRITISH Airways and Forte Hotels have been voted top airline and hotel chain respectively in BTIUK’s annual travel supplier survey.
BTIUKasked staff at 170 of its business travel locations for their views on the support they are given by major travel suppliers in the airline and hotel industry. All staff were asked a range of questions on areas such as sales representation, customer and support services, complaint handling, co-ordinated client contact, training, cost efficiency and problem solving. BAachieved top scores on every question to become the overall number one. It beat British Midland, which came in at number two, followed by KLM, Continental and Lufthansa. In the hotel category, Forte Hotels beat Thistle to first place, followed by Millennium and Copthorne, Hyatt and Hilton Worldwide.
