Budget carrier Norwegian has been forced to ground all domestic flights in Norway today (Thursday) in the face of a second successive day of strike action by pilots.
More than 35,000 passengers will be affected by the industrial dispute at Norwegian Air Norway.
The walkout by pilots will also affect some domestic flights in Sweden and Denmark.
Most of services between the Scandinavian capitals will also be cancelled. Flights from Scandinavia to the US and Thailand will not be affected, and the airline hopes to run a normal schedule from the UK, Spain and Finland.
“We will continue to do everything we can to ensure that our passengers will be as little affected by the pilot strike as possible,” said a spokesperson for the airline, which also suffered a walkout by pilots last weekend.
