Ambassador recruits A-Rosa’s Emma Rodgers

A-Rosa River Cruises regional sales manager Emma Rodgers has taken up a new role at Ambassador Cruise Line.

She has been named as divisional sales manager – north from November 11.

Rodgers replaces Karen Cameron, who was promoted to the role of deputy head of trade earlier this year and has been fulfilling both functions since.

Following a handover period, Rodgers will oversee trade business in the north of England, Scotland and Northern Ireland.

She will report to head of distribution Nicola Harper and work alongside Louise Tansey, divisional sales manager for the south and Wales.

Rodgers held senior positions at Classic Collection Holidays, Personal Holiday Advisors and Riviera Travel prior to A-Rosa.

Harper said: “Emma is well-regarded in the industry and, with a wealth of experience and strong connections across the north of England, Scotland and Northern Ireland, she will be instrumental in supporting our trade partners and driving forward our ambitious goals.

“The arrival of someone of Emma’s calibre illustrates just how highly we value our agent partners, and we are fully committed to supporting our trade partners with the knowledge and resources they need to succeed.

“There is a big market for our affordable quality product, and the trade can rest assured that, with the addition of Emma, the Ambassador trade team will be with them every step of the way to support their efforts to increase brand awareness and ultimately drive sales.”

Rodgers added: “It’s a fantastic time to be part of this growing company, and I look forward to working closely with our trade partners across the north, Scotland, and Northern Ireland to support them as we continue to elevate the Ambassador brand.”
