Dean Harvey joins Hotelplan UK’s Inghams and Santa’s Lapland brands

Dean Harvey is to join Hotelplan UK’s Inghams and Santa’s Lapland brands as marketing director.

The former Kuoni UK marketing chief takes up the new role in January 2025 after a spell working for Travel Weekly owner Jacobs Media.

Harvey previously served as a member of Kuoni parent Der Touristik UK’s executive team, and his career includes a stint at award-winning advertising agency Designate as digital development director.

Inghams and Santa’s Lapland managing director John Mansell said: “We are delighted that Dean will be joining us in the new year.

“His passion for driving marketing innovation and forward-thinking leadership will be key to our Inghams and Santa’s Lapland brands moving forward.

“I’m really excited for Dean to immerse himself in our business and leverage his extensive experience to elevate our marketing strategies.

“Both brands have gone through lots of changes over the past couple of years to strengthen their brand positioning, so I’m keen to see him now take them to the next level, for both our present and future guests.

“Additionally, I also look forward to the fresh ideas and approaches he’ll bring to our general management team, and how these will unfold over the coming year.”

Harvey added:  “I am genuinely looking forward to joining Hotelplan as the marketing director for the UK brands Inghams and Santa’s Lapland.

“With many years of experience in travel and marketing, I am passionate about crafting stories that connect with people and inspire their journeys.

“I can’t wait to work alongside the talented team to develop creative strategies that resonate with customers and make their travel dreams a reality.

“Together, we will embrace the changing landscape of travel marketing and ensure that the brands continue to be a welcoming choice for those seeking new experiences.”
