Flightbookers is hoping to entice customers onto its Web site by promising that every 50th ticket booked on-line will be free. The company estimates that 5,000 travellers visit the site each day, generating 40 daily bookings.

Amadeus has launched its Travel Assistance product which allows agents to create and book travel insurance for their customers. Initially the product will be rolled out in France, but will be launched in the UK later this year.
