CRYSTAL Cruises will sign a deal for a third ship within the next two years, according to senior vice-president of sales David Morris.
“We are ready for a third ship,” he said. “Up to now, our aim has been to maximise profits. Now we are in a profitable position.”
He said any new vessel would be the same size as the cruiseline’s existing ships Crystal Symphony and Crystal Harmony, which each have a capacity of 940 passengers, but will have a higher proportion of balconies.
The current trend among cruise passengers is for accommodation with balconies on ships.
