Single-traveller specialist Solos Holidays has released its 2015-16 brochures, including more than 40 new itineraries.
All of the operator’s trips are led by experienced Solos tour leaders, who guide groups of sociable single travellers on planned itineraries.
Within the Discovery Tours collection, food lovers can enjoy a Flavours of Spain tour, discovering Andalusia’s culinary and cultural offerings, including visits to Alhambra Palace, Granada, Guadix and Las Alpujarras, and preparing tapas.
The trip departs October 13 this year and March 13 and April 17, 2016, with prices from £945.
Farther afield, Solos’ new Java and Bali Explorer tour contrasts visits to cities and rice paddy fields with a chance to see Singapore on a stopover. Trips depart on October 2 this year and April 15, 2016, with prices starting at £3,399.
Wild Sri Lanka is a seven-night tour of the island’s flora and fauna, visiting lesser-known national parks and sightseeing in Kandy and Nuwara Eliya. Departing February 8, 2016, it is priced from £2,439.
Also new to Solos’ long-haul offering this year are China and the Yangtze, and Tempting Thailand. The China trip is a 12-night itinerary visiting Beijing, Xi’an and Shanghai, including a river cruise. It departs May 7, 2016, with prices from £3,399.
Tempting Thailand is also a 12-night tour, from Bangkok via Kanchanaburi to Chiang Mai and Chiang Rai, followed by two days at the coastal resort of Hua Hin. This tour departs on November 8, 2015, and March 19, 2016, starting from £2,939.
Finally, Solos is offering a 10-night trip taking in Buenos Aires, Iguassu and Rio de Janeiro, departing on September 27. Prices start at £4,099.
