Dnata Travel Group UK’s adventure and touring brand, Incredible Journeys, has reported that yesterday (January 13) was its best day on record for calls and bookings.
The calls taken on Monday were 37% higher than the same day last year, and 30% higher than Incredible Journeys’ best day in 2024.
However, despite the increase, the B2B brand said its answer rate remained “strong”.
Incredible Journeys launched its peaks marketing campaign and brochure, Little Book of Incredible Journeys, on January 3 showcasing touring and adventure holidays for agents.
Sri Lanka saw growth of 25%, Japan increased by 80% and Kenya was up 75% last week compared to the same period last year.
Simon Owen, trading director, said: “Although yesterday was our best trading day ever, we have seen promising numbers over the last few days.
“As we expected, January 11 was a great day for trading, and we are delighted to see the momentum continue throughout this week.
“Our sales centre colleagues are answering an incredible number of calls with a strong conversion rate – the Incredible Journeys team spent 2024 preparing for this and it is paying off.”
