AWTE unveils new name and branding for benevolent committee

A new name, look and logo has been unveiled for the Association of Women Travel Executives benevolent committee.

The relaunched AWTE Benevolent aims to build on 40 years of work to support members to overcome job losses, illness and bereavement.

AWTE Benevolent chairwoman, Aphrodite Burton, said: “We want our members to know that we are truly dedicated to supporting all of them.

“The main feedback we received was making sure everyone knows the service is there for every member, should the need arise, and we are proud to now be ‘AWTE Benevolent – Supporting our members’.

“This relaunch is in keeping with the successful changes that AWTE has experienced over the past couple of years.

“We decided now was the time for AWTE Benevolent to have a new brand identity and let our newer members know that our support is for them and every member of the association.”

AWTE chairwoman, Debbee Dale, said: “Our membership is growing fast, we welcome new members and company members weekly.

“We want to make sure that they know about the full range of membership benefits AWTE provides and importantly that the AWTE Benevolent is here for all of them.”

The new branding was revealed at a lunch in London yesterday.
