Kuoni pledges to raise £25,000 by end of 2025 for partner charity

Kuoni staff have pledged to raise £25,000 by the end of 2025 for their chosen charity, Honeypot.

The London-headquartered organisation helps young carers aged five to 12 by providing respite breaks and a range of services.

So far, the operator’s staff have raised almost £4,500, by taking part in events such as the Vitality 10k London race (pictured) and selling tickets for events such as a comedy night.

Other prize draws and sporting challenges are in the pipeline to generate even more funds.

The partnership will also give members of the Kuoni team a chance to volunteer their time, from hosting memory-making days for young carers to decorating respite houses for special occasions.

Mark Duguid, Kuoni’s managing director, said: “We asked our team about the causes which mattered to them and children and young people along with health came out on top.

“This is an organisation which is all about creating childhood memories for young people who aren’t always aware they are even considered carers.

“It allows them to learn and play and to be children.

“Our team are excited about creating ways to get involved and raise money to make a difference to the lives of these young people.”

Honeypot is the only children’s charity in the UK which provides long-term support for young carers.

Its residential respite breaks in the countryside enable children to play on zip wires, have campfires under stars and visit zoos or theme parks.

Honeypot also hosts educational breaks to help boost children’s confidence in the classroom and awards wellbeing grants so their families can buy essential goods.
