Aito is to hold its overseas conference in Asturias, northern Spain, in November.
The Specialist Travel Association (Aito) announced the destination at its annual general meeting on Thursday (March 6).
Chairman Chris Rowles said: “Asturias is different to any other region of Spain that we have been to. It’s like going to a different country.”
He said he made “no apologies” for going back to Spain for a second year after Valladolid hosted the conference last year.
“We look forward to once again being hosted by the Spanish Tourist Office,” he added.
Delegates will stay near the city of Oviedo in the principality of Asturias during the event, to be held on the last weekend of November.
Accommodation will be a five-star spa resort, a short drive from Oviedo.
Manuel Butler, UK director of the Spanish Tourist Office, said the region would welcome Aito members, and highlighted the different landscape, weather and food in Asturias.
