NORWICH Airport has rebranded itself following the completion of a £1.9m refurbishment of its terminal.
The airport will now be called Norwich International and will use the terminal to spearhead its plans forexpansion.
Extra facilities include an increase in check-in desks from eight to 12, a new business-class lounge and new restaurants and bars.
Managing director Hugh Lawson said:”The terminal building now has a lot more capacity.
“This will assist us in our expansion plans towards becoming a significant regional airport.”
Acting European Commissioner transport Neil Kinnock attended the opening of the new terminal.
