Atlantic Holidays is undergoing an effective relaunch with a low deposit offer and a ‘price parity’ guarantee as it seeks to woo the trade.
The Portugal specialist operator will be visiting independent agents in the northeast, West Yorkshire, the Midlands and the south coast delivering marketing collateral re-enforcing its specialism to Portugal and Madeira.
A new website and reservations support team have also been introduced following relocation of the company’s head office from Gloucester to Kingston upon Thames.
Atlantic Holidays part of Pestana Hotels Group, Portugal’s largest international tourism and leisure group, and also offers stays in regional historic hotels known as Pousadas de Portugal.
Introduction of the £60 per person low deposit initiative and price match scheme follow the appointment of former Thomas Cook senior manager Chris Busuttil as managing director last year.
Revealing plans to expand the operator’s programme to Cape Verde for 2016, he said: “In 2016 Atlantic Holidays will celebrate 25 years of providing great value, high quality holidays to Portugal and Madeira and it’s time for us to re-enforce our message and remind the trade that we are the number one specialist operator to these two hugely popular destinations.
“We launched our new booking website this year but we wanted to ensure that it was fit for purpose before we started to shout about it.”
Detailing plans to re-engage with independent agents, Busuttil said: “No other operator can claim to be the specialist to Portugal and Madeira – that’s our territory and we intend to re-enforce that message by giving agents the tools that they need to sell these destinations with confidence and we plan to increase our product range by adding Cape Verde in 2016.
