Following the success of Hard Rock Hotel Ibiza, Palladium Hotel Group will open a second branded property on Tenerife’s southern coast near Adeje in autumn next year, in time for the winter sun season.
A total renovation of the former three-star Fiesta Hotel Playa Paraiso, the new 624-room, five-star beachfront resort packed with the Hard Rock International brand’s collection of music memorabilia will have both an adults-only and a family section split across two towers, Oasis and Nirvana.
Facilities will be similar to the Ibiza property, with a Rock Royalty Level with suites offering a private lounge and concierge, and VIP check in. The hotel will feature three pools, access to a natural saltwater lagoon, a concert arena with a main stage with a capacity for 5,000 and a beach club, plus a Rock Spa, Body Rock Gym and a Rock Shop with merchandise designed exclusively for the hotel.
Six restaurants will include Japanese, tapas, and a steakhouse, plus an all-day buffet, a sports bar serving Tex Mex favourites and a beach club. A further six bars will include a rooftop sky lounge bar with live music.
There will be three kids clubs; Lullaby for those aged six months to three years, Hard Rock Roxity Kids Club for four to 11 year olds and Teen Spirit for 11 to 17s, which will have a virtual gaming area, Xbox Kinect, PlayStation, tablets, table football and giant chess.
UK guests make up 40% of those staying at Hard Rock Hotel Ibiza, and Palladium Hotel Group marketing manager Europe Cristina Beteta expects the UK to make up a significant amount of Hard Rock Hotel Tenerife’s business too.
“Our target for next year is to increase awareness of the Palladium brand for UK agents, following our successful fam trip to Ibiza in partnership with Travel Weekly last month.” Beteto said.
Palladium Hotel Group is in the process of upgrading and rebranding all its three-star Fiesta Hotels & Resorts properties to the Palladium brand, and will open a new-build hotel complex in the north of Cancun in winter 2017. This will comprise of 3,700 rooms across four new Grand Palladium Resorts and two The Royal Suites by Grand Palladium properties, making it the largest in the Palladium Hotels & Resorts global portfolio.
