PRINCESS Cruises has brought its Alaska and Mediterranean summer programmes together in a single brochure for the first time.
Marketing manager Gill Haynes said the move was intended to help agents by keeping all summer product together and cutting down on racking space.
The Alaska and Mediterranean brochure, which covers the May to October 2000 period, also features a new early-booking discount system.
Princess is offering an across-the-board 20% discount on holidays, subject to availability. When an undisclosed amount of cruises have been sold, it will drop the discount to 10%. For summer 1999, the cruiseline is promoting Princess Pricebreakers, which offer set cash reductions depending on the class of cabin a customer booked.
Meanwhile, cruises to Bermuda have been introduced. A nine-night fly-cruise including three stops in Bermuda starts from £1,260.
Princess has also cut prices on Baltic cruises by introducing fly cruises to Copenhagen, rather than operating them out of the UK as it did previously. As a result a 10-night Baltic cruise on Crown Princess starts from £1,636 for an outside cabin, down from £1,845 for a similar cruise last year.
