Celebrity Cruises has recruited the former UK general manager of Costa Cruises to its sales team.
Shaun Lyons had been in charge of Costa Cruises UK business, and was their only representative in that market.
He was made redundant when the line announced it was to go direct-sell only, a decision was was reversed just 24 hours after being made.
Lyons’s new role at Celebrity Cruises will be as a strategic account manager.
