BUSINESS FACILITIES


Hyatt Hotels Corporation


Business plan: costs $20 a day above the regular room rate. Facilities include an over-sized desk, fax/copier and printer machines, coffee-making facilities, iron and ironing board. It is available in most business hotels and is currently being upgraded.


Inter-Continental Hotels


Business rooms: price varies according to availability and location. Facilities include larger desks, modem and PC outlets, ergonomic chairs, halogen lamp and coffee-making facilities. Currently being rolled out to hotels.


Marriott


Rooms that work: no additional charge. Facilities include two power outlets and a PC modem jack which are mounted in the desk, a moveable light and adjustable ergonomic chair. Available in all of Marriott’s full service hotels – around 20% of its total rooms are Rooms that Work.


Sheraton


Smart rooms: additional charge varies according to availability. Facilities include fax/photocopier/printer, two-line speaker phone, early morning check-out where guests are served fresh coffee and pastries, and personal incoming message service. Available in all European properties.
