EasyHotel today confirmed the completion of the purchase of a property in Ipswich.
The ‘super budget’ group was granted planning permission to convert the building into a 94-room hotel in August.
The company expects to open the hotel in the city’s Northgate Street by July 2017.
No purchase price was disclosed.
EasyHotel already owns hotels in London, Glasgow and Croydon and operates others in the UK under franchise agreements in Edinburgh, Heathrow, central London and Luton.
Other UK hotels are planned for Birmingham, Liverpool and Manchester.
