Saga Cruises is offering first-timer passengers early flights home and a refund of their cruise fare to anyone who does not enjoy the experience.
The over-50s specialist is guaranteeing that if they find that sailing on Saga Pearl II or Saga Sapphire is not for them they can leave the ship at the next available port.
Saga is keen to get more people on board with 99% of passengers describing cruising with the company as ‘good’ or ‘excellent’ in customer feedback.
The ‘Love it first time’ offer applies only to new bookings and is open to anyone who has not cruised on a Saga-owned ship.
Saga Cruises commercial director Nigel Blanks said: “One of the greatest challenges of any business is to encourage new customers to try their products.
“We have such a high repeat booking rate that we know that when new people try out the Saga Cruise experience they simply want to come back for more.
“That’s why we’re so confident with our cruise offering that we underpin it with this satisfaction guarantee.”
Fred Olsen Cruise Lines has been running a similar ‘Enjoyment Promise’ initiative to attract first-time cruisers for almost three years.
