WET AND WILD TRIPS ADDED BY THOMSON
Thomson Holidays has introduced its ‘Get Wet Go Wild’ four-day excursion in the Dominican Republic to its summer 1999 brochure. Pre-bookable in the UK, the trip is operated by the Adventure Company and includes mountain biking, rafting, canoeing and horse-riding. It can be added to a 10-night stay at one of two hotels, the Paradise Beach Club in Playa Dorada or the Luperon Beach Resort at Luperon. The two-week package costs from £895 at the Paradise.
SUNWORLD LOOKS TO SOUTHERN RESORTS
Sunworld has added the southern resorts of Juan Dolio and Boca Chica for summer ’99. It features four hotels in the area, including the Decameron Caribbean Village, which leads in at £659 for seven nights all-inclusive. Two hotels, the Club Bahia Principe at Bahia Principe and the Luperon Beach Resort at Luperon, in the north of the island, are also new. Prices start at £625 for seven nights all-inclusive at the Club Bahia Principe.
