Airtours is claiming early- booking offers for its first-edition year-round Far and Away and Florida programmes will more than offset price increases for the millennium programmes.
Far and Away prices are up 8%-10% but the operator is offering a guaranteed ú200 off per couple until the end of July. Prices have increased by under 5% for Florida where Airtours is featuring discounts of up to ú150 off per couple.
New to Far and Away are Acapulco, Sri Lanka and Fort Lauderdale, which is expected to appeal to the repeat Florida market. Airtours International is operating weekly flights to Acapulco and Fort Lauderdale from Manchester.
Sales, marketing and development director Ed Sims said there was a lot of demand for long-haul millennium holidays.
Prices start from ú389 for a one-week self-catering holiday in Cancun, while Florida flydrive prices lead at ú299 per adult for 14 nights.
