SUMMER DEALS WITH SWANSEA CORK FERRIES


Swansea Cork Ferries starts its summer services on March 15 with one-way fares from £85 low season for a car and five people and £129 for a Midweek Special return for the same number of people and vehicle.


RECORD NUMBERS FOR PORTSMOUTH IN 1998


The number of passengers using Portsmouth port increased 3.9% last year to a record of just over 3.4m. Car traffic was up 2.25% to 949,802.


STENA LINE OFFERS TWO-NIGHT IRELAND DEAL


Stena Line is offering two-night breaks in Ireland from £99 until the end of March. The cost, which is £56 below brochure price, includes a conventional or fast-ferry crossing and two nights at a choice of hotels.


PEMBROKE FINISHES TWIN RAMP INSTALLATION


Pembroke Dock has completed the second phase of a £12m development with the installation of twin ramps to speed up loading and unloading of Irish Ferries’ Isle of Innisfree. The ship operates from the port to Rosslare in Ireland.
