Goldenrail revamps ’99 programme

GOLDENRAIL, the sister brand of Superbreak, has revamped its 1999 brochure to give it a more upmarket feel.

Superbreak sales director Ian Mounser said: “The front cover and introductory pages have been redesigned and are a lot cleaner. It has a more aspirational feel about it.”

The number of hotels in 1999 has been increased by 75 to 500 after agreeing a deal with Forte to include 40 properties. Goldenrail has also benefited from deal with the Old English Pub Company which has 30 hotels in the brochure.

The operator has teamed up with Great North Eastern Railways to offer cut-price tickets from Scotland and the north to London. A first-class return from Glasgow leads in at ú79.
