WHO ever said the Guild of Business Travel Agents were a staid bunch?
Certainly not Backchat after a visit to one of Virgin Atlantic’s open evenings for business agents last week.
The airline turned one of west London’s music studios into a huge oversize Virgin Clubhouse, complete with bar, buffet, games, massage areas and a dance floor.
How the business agents loved it. They vied with each to be the fastest in the motorbike arcade and fought to get into a dodgem car to career around and crash into their colleagues.
Highlight of the evening was undoubtedly GBTApast chairman Tony Hughes roaring around the dodgem track knocking all and sundry out of his way.
GBTAmembers might not have come away with a lot more information, but they sure were tired and fuzzy headed last Thursday morning.
