Star Clippers is now looking at a spring 2000 inauguralvoyage in the Mediterranean for its new sailing ship Royal Clipper. The 5,000-tonne, 224-passenger ship was to be launched from Barbados in early 2000, but there have been contract delays for the second stage of construction.
n carnival goes interactive with sensation system
Carnival is planning to install an interactive entertainment system called Cruiseview on its vessel Sensation.
The digital system will be fitted in cabins and information kiosks throughout the ship. Passengers will be able to play games, shop, use the Internet and book shore excursions.
