The service is aimed at operators who sell self-catering accommodation and want to use the Internet to reach a wider audience of independent travellers. Operators can put their details on to the holiday-rentals.com site, which was one of the first to set up on the Internet in 1996.
Holiday-rentals.com marketing director Marcelle Spencer said:”Tour operators have been slow to catch on to the huge opportunities of the Internet. This service allows them to catch up by taking advantage of an established market on a proven Web site.”
