n festival slashes mediterranean prices
Festival Cruises has slashed the price of a Mediterranean cruise on Azur from ú808 to ú493 per person. The seven-day cruise departs from Italy on April 17. The price is based on two people sharing a cabin and also includes the return air travel back to Italy.
n Penthouse suites added on sunbird
Airtours is currently creating nine penthouse suites and is adding a bar to its new ship, Sunbird before it joins the rest of the fleet in May. Theoperator is also installing new soft furnishings in all cabins and also in several public areas. Sunbird was formerly owned by Royal Caribbean International and was operated under the name of Song of America.
n costa cruises cuts transatlantic rates
The price of a 15-night transatlantic voyage with Costa Cruises has been reduced by a third. Thecost of the cruise, which sets sail in Guadeloupeand finishes in Genoa,now starts from ú1,049.It departs on May 1.
