ADVANTAGE Travel Centres will unveil a new scheme to unite specialist agents and operators at its conference in Portugal this weekend.
The consortium plans to launch a strategy to enable its members that sell large numbers of a certain product to work more closely with the specialist operators.
The move, designed to emphasise the independence of Advantage in the wake of its franchise alliance with Airtours, will involve moves to negotiate improved commercial terms.
Commercial director Neil Armorgie said: “Some of our members may not sell mass-market operators but specialise in certain areas such as cruising. We want these members to work alongside the relevant operators.”
