Open letter to those who still create errors
Spare me space to plead with fellow members of the industry to update their databases and review a few procedures.Our postcode has been JE3 8LTfor years, yet major suppliers continue to show an obsolete code.
Our fax number changed to 01534 744849 years ago, yet suppliers send messages to our old number, which is often unmanned for weeks at a time in a private office.
Tour operators, please consider showing client names on envelopes containing documents, reducing our search time.
Cruiselines that still charge extra for port taxes and tips, please build these into fares.
On a more general note, our campaign to eliminate broadcast ‘junk’ faxes has been very successful. Iurge agents who are inundated with daily sales faxes to just ask the senders to stop.
