Two travel agents have left the UK for a month-long self-funded fam trip to Australia.
Graeme Brett, director of Westoe Travel, and Ken Garrity, director of Ken Garrity Travel, pictured left to right, set off at the weekend and stopped off in Singapore before arriving in Sydney on September 20.
The pair, pictured at check-in at London Heathrow, will be running a blog and posting pictures of their travels on Travel Weekly’s website to provide other agents with up-to-date information about Australia
Australia reopened this year after a two-year closure due to Covid.
The pair are calling their trip ‘The Great Australia Bite Tour’ and have a full itinerary, including lesser-known areas such as Port Lincoln on the Eyre Peninsula and Lizard Island. Accommodation varies from hotels to tented accommodation while they will also travel on The Ghan train.
