Air Canada restarts Heathrow-Calgary service

Air Canada resumed passenger flights between Heathrow and Calgary International Airport on Wednesday (September 8) with a three-times weekly non-stop service.

The outbound service from London will operate on Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays, with the return service from Calgary on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays.

Flights are operated with Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner aircraft, featuring 30 Signature Class, 21 Premium Economy and 247 Economy seats.

The Canadian carrier also offers daily non-stop services from Heathrow to Toronto and Vancouver, as well as a four-times weekly non-stop flights between Heathrow and Montréal.

Stephen Gerrard, Air Canada UK and Ireland general sales manager, said: “The gradual return of our services from London Heathrow, connecting the UK and Canada, is an important step forward as we rebuild our international network.”

Canada has moved to the green list for entering England and fully vaccinated travellers are now eligible to enter without having to quarantine.

Earlier this week, APT launched its 2022 Canada and Alaska programme, to coincide with the reopening of Canadian borders on September 7.
