Bristol airport has been reconnected with Lufthansa’s global hub in Frankfurt.
Flights to the German city restarted on Monday with a frequency of four a week, rising to a daily schedule in September.
Fares start at £159 return including taxes.
The move follows Aer Lingus resuming five flights a week between Bristol and Dublin on Sunday with one-way prices starting at £39.99, giving access to the Irish carrier’s transatlantic network.
