Channel Islands operator shuts trade brand

C I Travel Group has confirmed it is no longer offering Channel Islands holidays for sale through its Airways Holidays trade brand.

The specialist operator made the announcement on its website, saying that Airways Holidays is no longer operating.

The company said: “Any existing bookings made for travel from 1st November onwards, will continue to operate as planned but new bookings will no longer be accepted.”

Travel and holidays will now be sold direct online via Jersey Travel and Guernsey Travel.

“All of us at Airways Holidays would like to take this opportunity to thank all of our travel agent partners and their teams for their support over the past years,” the operator added.

Agents with queries have been directed to the group’s reservations team.

C I Travel Group, established 40 years ago, handles more than 20,000 travellers a year, according to managing director Robert Mackenzie.
