EasyJet confirms extension of Tel Aviv service suspension

EasyJet has extended the suspension of flights to Israel throughout the winter.

The budget airline confirmed the decision amid heightened tensions in the Middle East.

A spokesperson said: “EasyJet has taken the decision not to restart flying to Tel Aviv until next spring.

“Customers booked to fly on this route between 27 October 2024 and 29 March 2025 are being offered options including a full refund.”

Flights by many airlines were first suspended following the start of the Israel-Gaza conflict last October.

Virgin Atlantic said its service to Tel Aviv was due to resume on September 5

A spokesperson said: “The safety and security of our people and our customers is always our top priority.

“Currently our flights to Tel Aviv are planned to resume on September 5, however we continue to review the ongoing situation and we advise anyone booked to travel to check their flight status on the website before travelling to the airport.”
