Jet2 expands Iceland programme for winter 2023-24

An expanded Iceland Northern Lights programme for winter 2023-24 has been released by Jet2.com and Jet2CityBreaks.

The company will offer 135 departing flights and more than 27,000 seats, raising capacity by 24% over to winter 2022-23.

Winter scheduled services to Iceland from Newcastle airport are being introduced as part of the extended coverage.

Scheduled flights will also operate from Manchester, Leeds Bradford and Birmingham airports, alongside departures from Belfast International, Bristol, Edinburgh, East Midlands and Glasgow.

Two weekly flights on Wednesdays and Sundays will run from Leeds Bradford and Newcastle from September 27 to November 2, and from the end of March to April 21, 2024.

Services to Iceland from Birmingham and Manchester will operate on Mondays and Thursdays in late-September, October, November, February, March and April.

Trips to Iceland return from Belfast International, Bristol, Edinburgh, East Midlands and Glasgow include 21 three- or four-night breaks, with seven trips in November 2023 and 14 trips taking place between February and March 2024.

Jet2 will serve Keflavík airport near Reykjavik with a range of 3 and 4-star hotels.

“On the back of such strong demand, we have expanded our winter ’23-24 programme to Iceland, meaning we can offer more opportunities to visit this beautiful destination at the best times of the year. 

“With a fantastic programme of scheduled services and once-in-a-lifetime trips on sale, we are giving customers and independent travel agents more choice and flexibility and we know this programme will be as popular as previous Iceland programmes.”
