Norse Atlantic creates UK managing director role

Norse Atlantic finance chief Ben Boiling is moving to take on the newly-created role of finance director and managing director of Norse UK.

He is being succeeded as the long-haul budget carrier’s Norway-based chief financial officer by Anders Hall Jomaas from July 1.

Boiling will be based in London as the airline becomes the largest transatlantic carrier from Gatwick this summer.

A statement said: “As the UK market becomes a more important part of Norse Atlantic’s growing business, this new role will play a key role in Norse’s development.

“Ben and Anders will work closely together to ensure Norse has a high-performing finance function.”

Chief executive Bjorn Tore Larsen said: “We are thrilled to welcome Anders Hall Jomaas to Norse Atlantic ASA.

“His extensive background in finance and his demonstrated ability to drive financial performance make him an ideal fit for our organisation. Anders will play a crucial role in strengthening our financial position and supporting our long-term strategic objectives.

“The creation of a new financial director role based at our London office will further strengthen our presence in the UK and create an important link between our finance teams in Norway and the UK.

“I am very pleased that Ben Boiling will be leading this challenging role and would like to take this opportunity to thank him for his immense contribution to the growth of Norse Atlantic over the last year since operations began.”
