Rotterdam city breaks added by easyJet holidays

City break packages to the port city of Rotterdam are being introduced by easyJet holidays.

The second largest city in the Netherlands will be accessed via flights to Amsterdam Schiphol airport and a 27-minute rail connection.

Prices start at £229 per person, with stays on the former liner SS Rotterdam leading in at £413 for three nights room-only from Liverpool on November 6, 2024.

The additional destination follows easyJet holidays delivering £49 million pre-tax profit in the last quarter, compared to the £16 million in the same three months last year.

The operator’s commercial director Paul Bixby said: “We’re always looking to expand our offering and meet holidaymakers’ demands for Europe’s most loved cities.

“So it only made sense to add Rotterdam to our collection, allowing our customers to make the most of our regular flights to Amsterdam, and the incredibly quick public transport on offer to the Netherlands’ second largest city.

“Rotterdam has so much to offer so I’m confident it’s going to be a hit with our customers, especially at our unbeatable prices.”
