Small ship line Aqua Expeditions plans to resume operations on the Mekong in September.
The Aqua Mekong (pictured) will operate three, four and seven-night itineraries with departures from Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam and Phnom Penh and Siem Reap, both Cambodia.
The first revenue cruise will last seven nights and depart on September 2. The lead-in price is $9,625. It is also available as a three or four-night itinerary.
Passengers on the four-night round-trip Explorer Cruise depart on September 2 from Phnom Penh. Prices start from $5,500.
Passengers on the three-night Discovery Cruise will join the ship on September 6 in Phnom Penh and can experience the border crossing between Cambodia and Vietnam before disembarking in Ho Chi Minh City on September 9. Prices start from $4,125.
Launched in 2014, Aqua Mekong features 20 suites with full length windows. A dining experience crafted by Michelin-starred consulting chef David Thompson is also available on board.
Each excursion features one guide and up to eight passengers.
“This allows each excursion through the delta to be highly personalised as activities can be tailed to suit the abilities and preferences of each guest,” the line said.
