Crystal Expedition Cruises is offering passengers who have booked a Crystal Endeavor Antarctica sailing free return charter flights from the US direct to the ship’s embarkation point in Ushuaia, Argentina.
The line previously offered a night in Buenos Aires with round-trip charter flights to Ushuaia, but said the new arrangements would provide a “worry-free” experience for guests. It said it was the only expedition line to offer the direct flights.
The 200-passenger expedition yacht (pictured) will operate eight voyages in Antarctica from November 2021 to February 2022. Its round-trip sailings range from 11 to 19 nights.
Endeavor’s passengers will also receive pre-cruise hotel accommodation in Ushuaia and a post-flight stay in a hotel in Miami upon returning to the US.
Crystal Cruises president Jack Anderson said: “Providing our guests chartered, non-stop air directly from the United States to the port of embarkation in Ushuaia ensures a worry-free and effortless vacation experience.”
Endeavor’s maiden Antarctica season finishes with a 19-night Falkland Islands & South Georgia to South Africa from Ushuaia to Cape Town. The sailing departs on March 1, 2022.
