MSC Cruises confirms new itineraries after dropping St Petersburg

New itineraries have been confirmed by MSC Cruises after it dropped St Petersburg from Baltic sailings this summer following the Russian invasion of Ukraine.

MSC Virtuosa from Southampton will run three longer cruises of 12 and 14-night duration to destinations including Oslo, Copenhagen, Tallinn, Helsinki, Visby and Skagen on May 30, July 2 and September 10.

Among other departures from Southampton, the ship will run seven and 12-night itineraries to Norwegian fjords destinations including Haugesund, Flaam, Olden, Maloy, Nordfjordeid and Molde Fjord from May 13 until September 3.

In other changes, MSC Grandiosa will be dedicated to the fjords for the entire summer from Kiel in Germany.

MSC Preziosa and MSC Poesia will also offer additional seven-night options across the fjords region from Kiel and Warnemunde in Germany respectively.

MSC Magnifica will run 10 to 14-night itineraries from Hamburg to destinations including Kristiansand, Narvik, Longyearbyen, Honningsvag, Nordfjordeid, Molde Fjord, Maloy from April 27 until August 21.
