Oceania Cruises is to fit its existing fleet with 14 cabins for solo passengers as it announced two new shore excursion programmes.
The staterooms will debut on Regatta on September 25; on Nautica on September 26; and on Insignia (pictured) and Sirena on October 1, 2022.
Each one will be located on deck six on the vessel and will have a seating area, mini-bar, and storage space.
The cabins will go on sale on April 11.
The line also revealed two shore excursion series – Go Green and Beyond Blueprints – to provide travellers with options for “discovery, exploration, and personal connections with the destinations visited”.
Globally, there are 150 Go Green tours for passengers to choose from. The tours, many of which provide an educational element, offer guests the opportunity to take part in various experiences.
Passengers can choose a vineyard tour in Bordeaux where they can learn how biodynamic and organic farming at Château de La Dauphine.
Beyond Blueprints tours offer passengers insight into architectural landmarks such as the Royal Library and the Blue Planet aquarium in Copenhagen, Denmark.
The line is showcasing 10 Beyond Blueprints tours in Europe for 2022. More tours are expected to be added this year.
Both shore excursions programmes go on sale at the end of April.
