Princess Cruises unveils 2022-23 Australia and New Zealand programme

Princess Cruises has unveiled details of its Australia and New Zealand 2022-23 programme, featuring 76 itineraries ranging from two to 36 days.

Grand Princess is set to make to its debut in Australia, offering sailings out of Melbourne. Royal Princess and Majestic Princess will sail out of Sydney for the first time.

Grand Princess’s 13-night sailing from Melbourne will call at Wellington, Napier and Auckland, all New Zealand. Prices start from £1,064.

Majestic Princess will sail a 12-night New Zealand voyage, departing from Sydney on October 31, 2022, calling at Dunedin (Port Chalmers); Christchurch (Lyttelton), Wellington and Auckland, all New Zealand. Prices lead in from £1,169.

Royal Princess is to sail a 10-night Queensland round-trip cruise departing Sydney on November 23, 2022. Ports of call include Airlie Beach, Yorkeys Knob (Cairns) and Port Douglas, all Queensland. Prices start from £969.

The fourth Princess ship in the region will be Coral Princess, which returns to Brisbane. In 2023, Coral Princess will sail a 107-night world cruise with passengers able to board from three departure ports: Auckland on May 31; Sydney on June 4; and Brisbane on June 6. Prices for the world cruise start from £14,274.

The line has included eight late-night stays at destinations including Adelaide, and Phillip Island, in Australia; and Auckland, in New Zealand, due to go on sale on March 3.

Two cruise-tour options – Australian Outback and Ultimate Australia – will also be available in the programme. Passengers have the opportunity to visit the Great Barrier Reef and Uluru National Park, combining a multi-night land tour with a cruise.
