Saga Cruises launches winter 2026 itineraries

Saga Cruises has launched 11 new itineraries for winter 2026.

Between them, the line’s two ocean ships Spirit of Adventure and Spirit of Discovery will sail two Mediterranean cruises, one Northern Lights cruise, a carnival cruise, a special homecoming cruise in Croatia and cruises around the seven Canary Islands.

Every port will now include an excursion with new options including exploring Mount Teide by cable car in Tenerife, stargazing in La Palma, a trek of El Cuervo Volcano, sea trekking in Arrecife, a submarine adventure in Las Palmas, a Catamaran cruise to Lobos Island from Fuerteventura and carnivals in Funchal and Tenerife.

The homecoming cruise has been designed by Captain Franko Papic which will have overnights in Dubrovnik and Rijeka, and new ports in Opatija, Krk Island and Rijeka.

Passengers will be able to visit Plitvice Lakes, Skada Lake and Krka National Park.

Nigel Blanks, Saga Cruises chief executive, said: “Our 2026 Saga Cruses journeys now offer an excursion in every port with a wider range of experiences to suit varying tastes.

“And because there are different levels of activity, it changes the way passengers can engage with their destination. For every sightseeing trip, there’s an offer of a little bit more, that gives a glimpse beyond the usual postcard vistas.”
